Develop memorable brand identities & more

Client: Jackie and the Beanstalk

Jackie, a talented landscape designer based in San Diego, CA, approached me to address inconsistencies in her marketing materials. After discussing her desired brand style, we developed a cohesive new sign for job sites and a matching sticker for rolled landscape plans.

Objective

Improved brand consistency and professional presentation across marketing materials.

Deliverables

  • Custom 20” x 30” Sign

  • Custom 3” x 5” Sticker

My Design Process

Research & Inspiration

  • Gathered brand materials and existing marketing collateral to ensure consistency.

  • Analyzed competitor branding and sticker designs for additional inspiration.

The Problem

  • The purple color on Jackie’s old sign did not match her other marketing materials

  • The white logo did not align with her green logo

  • The images of succulents pictured are not typically the plants she uses in her landscapes

Her Old Sign

The Solution

  • The design includes the company name, services offered, a project photo, and contact information.

  • For both the sign and sticker we used the same green color value for her logo that her website uses.

  • “Custom Gardens” from her older material was changed to “Landscape Design” to better reflect her

  • For the sign I also included a QR code so people can easily access her website.

Together, the sticker and sign along side her existing marketing material present a unified and professional brand image that is essential for building trust and recognition in the landscape design industry.

Both designs incorporate the same design elements, providing clear contact information and a visual representation of Jackie's work. This not only aids in brand recognition but also promotes services to a broader audience in a visually appealing manner.
